Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Nutch BV, IJzerenpoortkaai 3/69, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number BE 1040.607.486 ("Nutch", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described below. This policy explains what we collect through nutch.ai, why, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect:

Your name and email address.
Optionally, a short description of what you want to build with Nutch.
Whether you opted in to receive our email updates.

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

Waitlist and early access. We use your name and email to manage the waitlist you signed up for and to contact you about your early access. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in running the waitlist (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Email updates. If you ticked the opt-in box, we send you occasional updates about Nutch. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us. Withdrawing does not affect your waitlist spot.
Improving the product. If you described your idea, we use it to understand what to build and to improve Nutch. We treat it as confidential. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in developing our product (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use your data for nothing else: no profiling, no advertising, no sale or sharing with third parties beyond the processor named below.

Where your data goes

Form submissions are stored in Google Sheets within our own Google account. Google acts as our processor under the Google Data Processing Amendment, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses; Google is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Only Nutch has access to the list. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until Nutch launches and your early access is settled, or until you ask us to delete it. Newsletter consent records are kept for as long as you are subscribed, plus what we need to prove consent was given.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict our processing. Email us at hello@nutch.ai and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
